Fibromyalgia

It is black
with flashes of purple
coursing through at
irregular intervals
like photons trapped
between two mirrors
oscillating head to toe
inflaming everything
as it goes
Muscles drawn and stiff
as in death
Unslowed by medicine
What hope then
but to give it a poem

      1. Not at all in dismissal of the pain, truly! I say thus, only because, I too was ‘diagnosed’ with ‘fibro’ (we have no idea what’s wrong with you) about 15 years ago, give or take…Our DNA is getting ‘upgraded’ and it hurts ~ a lot ~ Though I certainly do not presume to know your experience! xoxo
